Pro Upgrade: Boost your MacBook 2.1-4.1 (2006-2008) with new versions of macOS and Windows 10.

Required prerequisites for the upgrade:

  • MacBook 2.1-4.1 (2006-2008)
  • 2GB or 4GB of DDR2 667-800 RAM (depending on your Mac)
  • 120GB to 256GB SSD
  • Lion Installer (USB)
  • Yosemite Installer (USB)
  • Catalina Installer (USB)
  • Windows 10 Installer (DVD)

Upgrade Process:

Part 1: Lion Installation

  1. Download the Lion installer or DMG from this link: Download link for Lion.
  2. Make sure you have a USB drive with at least 8GB capacity.
  3. Format the USB drive in HFS+ format.
  4. Copy the contents of the DMG onto the USB drive.

Part 2: Yosemite Installation

  1. After you've installed Lion, create a partition on the same drive to install Yosemite.
  2. Download the unsupported Yosemite files folder from this link: Download link for the folder.
  3. Use the 'MacPostFactor' application located within the 'Unsupported' folder to create the Yosemite installer.
  4. Install Yosemite using the application or the created USB.
  5. Use the patching applications located in the 'Unsupported' folder for special configurations.

Part 3: Catalina Installation

  1. Download the Catalina installer onto a USB drive with at least 16GB capacity from this link: Download link for Catalina.
  2. Download the EFI Installer + Serializer (bonus) from this link: Download link for EFI + Serializer. Use the Macrium Reflect program from Windows to clone the EFI + Serializer onto the USB.
  3. Insert both USB drives into your Mac and boot from the EFI. Make sure to select the EFI from Boot and not the serial.
  4. Start the Catalina installer from the second USB.
  5. Complete the Catalina installation.

Part 4: Windows 10 Installation

  1. Download the Windows 10 installer onto a USB/DVD from this link: [Download link for Windows 10](WINDOWS 10).
  2. Remove the SSD from the Mac and place it in a Multibrand PC to start the installation.
  3. Once the first restart occurs, force shut down the PC, remove the SSD from the PC, and place it back in the Mac to complete the installation.

Part 5: Windows Driver Installation

  1. Download 3DChip to install the drivers or download the driver folder from this link: Download link for the drivers. This folder is private, please do not share it.
  2. Once the drivers are installed, your Mac will be ready.
