During startup, press and hold the \"ALT\" key to access the boot options. Select the first EFIboot option, and you will enter the serializing tool for Macs manufactured in 2014 or earlier. Here, you can modify your device's serial number. Make sure to use a genuine serial number and do so for the right reasons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27653b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"27653b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 4: Install an unsupported operating system.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-621679b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"621679b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you want to install an unsupported operating system, you'll need the original installer on a USB drive. You can create this installer yourself on a 16 GB USB drive. For example, you can generate an installer for Monterey, Ventura, and so on.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea137be elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ea137be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 5: Boot from the USB drives and select the corresponding EFI.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-473b650 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"473b650\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Connect both USB drives to your Mac and restart. Once again, hold down the \"ALT\" key to access the boot options. You'll see all available boot options, but this time, select the second EFI.
